Congratulations to Pierce Donovan for his Ph.D. graduation! 

Pierce is joining the Department of Economics at Colgate University as a visiting assistant professor. 

Pierce's dissertation focuses on viable control in natural resource economics, which provides solutions in management settings where we lack reasonable estimates of the damages from key events--like species extinction or climate catastrophes.  His dissertation chair is ESP Associate Professor Michael Springborn. Dissertation committee members include ESP Professor James Sanchirico and ARE Professor Emeritus James Wilen.
